Who We Are
The Friends of the Wheaton Municipal Band was established in 1995 to raise additional funds for the Band. The group is comprised of enthusiastic and dedicated area resident volunteers, who work diligently each summer on various fundraising activities. One of the most wonderful and gratifying features of being in this group is we have all become FRIENDS. Each person has his or her own way of contributing to the success of this group and we have a fun time working together to support the WMB. If you are interested in a GREAT time with a FUN and FRIENDLY group of people, working for an OUTSTANDING cause, join us!
What We Do
Fundraising activities include the sale of food/snack items and programs at each week's Thursday night concert in Memorial Park, the sale of t-shirts, the WMB CD and other WMB logo items, soliciting contributions for the BandWagon, our audience support group for the Band, and selling tickets for our summer indoor fundraising concert at Edman Chapel.
